April 13. Stand with me in Erie in the fight for CHIP

Join me in Perry Square on Monday, April 13th at 5:30pm with friends, signs, and most importantly your voice, to send a message to Senator Toomey: fully fund CHIP and provide security to children, families and our future. 

My plan is to go to this event and make this day a day of action for DWMC ....

As a former teacher, aunt, mother and grandmother this issue is at the core of what we stand for as Democrat Women...health care protection for all children.  Judy Hines

First of all, for those of you I haven't met yet, my name is Dan Doubet, and I'm the new organizer from Keystone Progress for northwest Pennsylvania. I'm originally from Meadville, and after managing campaigns around the country, I've settled in North East with my wife and sons. My mission is to make this state better for all Pennsylvanians, and that's as exciting to me as it personal.

I'm writing you today because the U.S. Senate will soon take up debate on CHIP, (the Children's Health Insurance Program), and I need your help to make sure Senator Pat Toomey understands that this program is vitally important to the security of children and families in our community. No family should go broke because their child gets sick, and every child deserves the best medical care available.
