Dear Friends,  Juneteenth is coming up on Saturday, June 17th.The parade will be back this year! The DWMC will gather to march in the parade at 9:30 am at the Shenango Valley Urban League, 601 Indiana Ave., Farrell. The parade steps off at 10 am. Contact Sue Ann Mulvey at sueannmulvey@gmail.com or 724-977-1465 for details on the parade. We also need volunteers to staff our Juneteenth table and distribute children's books from noon to 5pm in Veterans Square at 723 Spearman Avenue in Farrell. Please call Judy Hines at 724-866-2220 if you are able to take a shift (12-2, 2-4, or 4-5).  All candidates are welcome to join us at our table at Juneteenth! Note there will be no June meeting at Cravings.  Juneteenth is our meeting.  Join us to enjoy the afternoon in Veterans  Square at 723 Spearman Avenue in Farrell, PA.   The DWMC will be marching in the Stoneboro Volunteer Fire Co.'s Parade on Saturday, June 24th at noon. Line up at 11 am at the Stoneboro Fairgrounds on Rte 62, by the horse barns and main entrance.  Parades and fairs are great places to meet your elected representatives and ask them questions! Yesterday DWMC

Thank you to Robin, Pat, Lou, Chuck, & Donna for making the trip to Toomey's Erie office today. Thank you to Bruce Hazen, Kimberly Donovan, Tom Macchia, and Brian for composing letters that we delivered. We were joined by four Erie-based activists with Keystone Progress. We put in a request for a meeting with Toomey and/or his "healthcare" person. I have attached one of Donna's photos from outside the office.
