DWMC. Monday morning News March 5, 2018

Good Morning,
I just read the DWMC Monday Morning News with so much going on in politics sometimes it is difficult to focus on the upcoming primary and getting the vote out and energize our liberal base to come out and become part of our local political grass roots effort to address the issues that effect us all.

We need to come out to support candidates who will make the changes needed to support the next generations giving them the safety and educational opportunities needed to have a prosperous life.

Sincerely, Nancy.

March is Women's History Month
"The Theme of this year's Women's History Month which begins Thursday, revives a phrase
that became a feminist rally cry last, year: 'Nevertheless, She Persisted.' "                          -TIME magazine.

Kudos, hats off, applause!! to DWMC members who persisted in collecting signatures for
Statewide and Local Candidates at the 5 petition signing stations run by DWMC volunteers.
With hard work and persistence Wolf, Casey, and Fetterman received well over 350 signatures each from Mercer County making Mercer County a filing county for these Candidates! The Fetterman campaign told us Mercer was in the Top 5 counting counties out of 65 in Pennsylvania with signature collection!

For Local candidates we collected well over 250 signatures. Thanks to all candidates who
provided their petitions and had their circulators sit at these stations.

Tuesday February 27 was the first day for Candidates running for Congress to collect signatures for petitions. Please Note... DWMC does not endorse during the primary. Individual members may circulate for candidates. As an organization we will list all petition signing events candidates provided to us. This allows an open democratic primary.
