DWMC members organize a march in Sharon PA for those of us that could not travel to D.C.
To our surprise an estimated 500 people came to our event.
On the bus to DC

Pink Action Hat

Hey Yay Mercer County Dems at the marches on Jan.21.

We have gotten a lot of requests for the pink pussy hat pattern.
I found several on line and I am knitting a couple different ones just for fun.

A very simple bulky version on #11 straight needles is perfect for beginners and folks that want to make several for friends and don't have a lot of free time to knit.

Cast on 26 stitches

K2, P2 ribbing for 12 rows, (slip first stitch, purl last for nice edge)
Switch to knitting every stitch acrossed the piece,  turn and purl back.
Do this for 30 or so rows. Depending on how big you want to go.
Switch back to ribbing for 11 rows so your ends match.
Cast off loosely,

Sew up the sides.   Mattress stitch. You can look up stitch on you tube.

Invite all your friends that would like to be at the Women's March on Washington DC on 1/21/2017, but couldn't! Not every one will be able to make the trip to the Women's March on Washington D.C - lets not feel left out and gather at noon by the State Street Bridge in downtown Sharon. Any one committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion is welcome. And... if its only a few of us, hell, we can grab a coffee, march the streets and chat!
