DWMC DAY OF ACTION : Juneteenth Celebration ~ June 21 Veterans Square in Farrell
Join us in celebration of this event, enjoy great live music and homecooked food and help spread good will in the community, encourage voter registration and voting. Participation in the Juneteenth event in Farrell will replace our regular June monthly meeting.
DWMC booth has been a part of this event since the beginning of DWMC
All DWMC hands on deck for this wonderful event.
Schedule:
a. Parade Line Up. 9:30
b. Table times and distribution of tickets for children's books
c. Volunteers needed to sit ( bring your own chair ) or stand
DWMC table TIMES : 11:00. - 3:00. Please volunteer
A slot of time between these hours
d. Last but not least ....BRING GENTLY USED OR NEW CHILDREN'S
BOOKS . this is a part of our action for Juneteenth . We distribute books to
Children and for those members who chose, we sit under the trees
In the park and read stories to the children.
