Stand against white nationalism and the terrorism we saw in Charlottesville this past weekend carried out by groups like the neo Nazis and the KKK. We have seen the heightened rhetoric and scapegoating grow around the country. This calls for a strong united response in the Mahoning Valley. The vigil will bring us together in a community conversation about this issue. We will also discuss next steps for preparedness to keep our communities targeted by these groups safe and to promote racial justice and unity in the common causes we have together."
