DWMC Monday News April 2, 2018

"The primary elections are the cornerstone of the plebiscitary presidency. They strip away the veneer of party unity and expose the individuality of each candidate. As contemporary selection procedures force leaders to compete with one another in open, they prompt them to differentiate themselves publicly and to boast of their independence of mind."
- Stephen Skowronek, author of "The Politics Presidents Make"
  • Primary season is here.
It is time to listen closely to the candidates. Educate yourself on their platforms. This is your chance to chose a candidate who will represent your needs. Promises will be made; focus on their solutions not their promises.  Please go to the Face Book pages of our candidates to become informed voters.  Their pages will list events where you will have the opportunity to meet the candidates.
